E-cigs versus The FDA
The president of the National Vapers’ Club has laid claims that the FDA is trying to block further research based on current vapour technology. He only has a vague speculation as to why they are attempting to block any further research. “The only thing that I can think of is that they stand to lose money if we do it without the FDA. If this research were to be done and funded through the FDA, they’ve already admitted they would cost millions and millions of dollars. We’re able to do the study, we proceeded with the proposal with a quote of $76,000 and I believe that we can complete this study for less than a hundred thousand dollars if we don’t have to go through the FDA.”
Noted scientists have gone on record to state that most electronic cigarettes safety levels range from between a hundred to a thousand times safer than that of an ordinary cigarette. In fact, the studies from the FDA themselves have shown that the nitrosamines (carcinogenic chemical compounds) are at least 1400 times lower when compared to a tobacco cigarette. Of course, most of this research will not do much to sway the mighty FDA. For over fifty years, the FDA has been the governing body in relation to the chemicals that we put in our body.
If they continue to block the development of e-cigarettes then there is really nothing even the biggest business can do in order to sell their product. Only through science, debate and understanding can government regulatory bodies such as the FDA hope to accept the prevalence of the electronic cigarette.

Good day, I bought the Twisp Mini. Best investment I've ever made. Has been by my side for 56 days. I feel better than ever.
